I bought a couple bottles of Buffalo Trace White Dog (aka DIY Pappy) for $13 each. White Dog is simply pure puree straight from the still, not aged or enhanced in any way. If it had been bottled and aged for about ten years, it would have made an excellent bourbon. So I placed 2 bottles of White Dog in a large decanter, along with 2 of the same sticks, plus a competitor's charred oak stick. I left them for about 2 weeks and the color changed to a nice deep gold and the flavor improved a lot. It

Received my sticks a few days ago (just after I ordered them!) and immediately got to work with a bottle of Moonshine which is now too hard to drink . After an hour the color changed and after a day I noticed a difference in taste.
