I'm glad I switched to SSD

Firstly, I would like to say that this was my first SSD, so I had mixed feelings about swapping out the hard drive (in this case WD Black 750GB) that I used with Acronis True Image 11 from Windows 7 Pro to 10 Pro updated/upgraded that I am familiar with and comfortable with. I immediately had problems with the size difference, which I also had experience with and usually dealt with the manual method of determining partition size, but this time I had difficulties. Finally I decided to clone the…

Great buy if your board supports 110mm m.2 drives

1 month later update, I'm still very happy with it, still fast and no regrets. Insane TBW durability! My 960GB shows up correctly as an 894GB drive that clicked correctly to get the true 1700MB. Read it's advertised but found it happens under some rare conditions if you're lucky and the moon hits the water at the right angle, blah blah blah maybe one more test application would be ideal. but it reads all my other drives correctly (samsung m.2 and ssd) so i don't see why it should be wrong…

Pros
  • Industry leading mean time between failures of 1,500,000 hours between failures (MTTF) and up to 128TB write power (TBW) for improved reliability.

Great buy if your board supports m.2 drives 110mm long

Upgraded after 1 month I'm still very happy with it, still fast and no regrets Crazy TBW durability! My 960GB shows up correctly as 894GB, which also correctly mostly achieves 2440MB/s linear read in benchmarks with Aida64 disk benchmarks. I struggled to get the true 1700MB it advertises, but found it in some rare conditions, if you're lucky and the moon hits the water at the right angle, blah blah blah. perhaps another test application would be ideal. But it reads all my other drives (Samsung…

Insane value, especially when buying 2!

I originally wanted to buy only one of these, since my motherboard (Asus TUF Sabertooth X99) has only one NVME slot, but before ordering I looked at the prices for 2TB SSDs and the average is around 180 US dollars. $200, and that's for SATA 3 2.5-inch style, NVME is almost double the price (of course, at the time of writing, they have good lightning deals from time to time). So I went to my shopping cart and added a second and 110mm M.2 PCIE to 16X adapter (i.e. $6 which Revain recommends…
