🕒 Timex Ironman Essential 10 Mid-Size Watch: Durability and Style Combined Review

I like the Timex watch and had no trouble using this watch as long as I didn't put it in the water. I had the same watch before and wore it in the shower with no problem; But the second time I went swimming, water got into the strainer and it was ruined. I thought I might have a lemon so I tried Timex again. This is the second watch I've bought and on my second swim the screen went completely blank. This triathlon watch is not waterproof. I will be returning this watch, I've only had it a week.

Bought for my daughter who is 7. She runs with a cross country team and needs a watch with a stopwatch mode. As she is still a teenager I wanted a smaller watch and she wanted a fun color and design. It's perfect and she loves it. She has even stopped using her phone as an alarm clock and sleeps on it instead. She's a tough client and when she's happy I'm extactic. I've been a Timex Ironman fan for YEARS. This one is no different. I was waiting for my last Timex to die so I could order the one with the day of the week on it. In the end I didn't wait and just bought the cheapest I could find on Amazon which turned out to be that color. It would get 5 stars if it was actually red. But be warned (as many other reviews mention), it's more of a "faded red"/pink orange color. I've added an image for a better view. Despite the color, it's still a great watch.
