Good watch for old eyes.

I am very satisfied with the watch. The face is a good size for my aged eyes. The only problem was that it was too big for my 7-71/2 wrist. Had to take it to a jeweler to have the links removed which was no problem - only an extra $10.

It's Timex! All is well !

It's Timex quality so it's everything I expected. The strap is quite large so I had to remove five links to fit my other half perfectly. I would have guessed that most would have to go to a jeweler to get this done, but I had all the tools and skills to do it professionally. Watch the YouTube video to find out how.

Pros
  • Always liked
Cons
  • May damage

Strap length is approximately 8 1/4 inches

As mentioned earlier, the watch strap is very long. My wrist is about 6 3/4 inches long and the jeweler removed a few links. He removed about 1 1/2 inches. The face of the clock is approximately 1 1/8 inches. I like the big face - the numbers are easy to read. They're more of a men's watch (simple) but I'm happy with them. I just need something to say the time I can easily see!

Pros
  • Excellent overall
Cons
  • For old

Great for big wrists

A lot of people say the strap is too big. I have to say that is what led me to this watch. I have big wrists and it fits me. I didn't have to remove the links. For those with smaller wrists, you'll need to remove the links. This can be done at a jeweler or at home with small jewelry tools. I wish it had a date on it, but I guess beggars don't have a choice. It has an indigo light that illuminates the face well.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Unfashionable

Good size for a tall woman!

Perfect size for a wide wrist. I searched and searched for watches that fit me comfortably. My wrist is 8 1/4 inches wide and the watch is exactly 9 inches, so it has enough room to slide around a bit, which I like. The dial is a little larger than we'd like, but still good - you can see the time at a glance. The gold finish looks beautiful - I'll update this review when I have time to say how the finish holds up. But for less than $50 - I'll probably buy another one when it looks worn…

Pros
  • Well made
Cons
  • Worries me

It was 3.5 months and it stopped.

I don't know how to return this because I can't find my warranty.? It was good until it stopped. I like the night light and it's easy to read. Removing links costs me $25. I ordered this on 3/4/20 and it is now 7/1/20 and it has stopped. I saw another review where it stopped after 4 months. WTN? Hopefully Timex will replace that.? I really liked the watch, but if you change it every 4 months, I wouldn't name it. price of money? I just called Revane and the last day I was supposed to be back was

2 replacement batteries in 1 1/2 years

Today I had to change the battery again on this 1 1/2 year old watch. I changed the last battery a year ago. The jeweler asked me how often I use backlighting. I replied that I rarely use it. I may have used it a few times. I like watches very much. Being a nurse is perfect for my job. But I am totally disappointed that I had to replace a flat battery twice in 1 1/2 years. The jeweler said the lithium battery should last 5 years. He also pressure tested the watch (to assess water resistance)…

Pros
  • New in my collection
Cons
  • Long time

I really like the watch

The first one ordered came with a dead battery and the stem was so dented in the case that it was impossible to set the time. Revain replaced it immediately and this one works fine. The case (or face) is 5mm larger than the standard Timex easy reader watch I've always bought. Now I need a size up as these eyes are not 20 years old anymore and I can see the time without glasses. It doesn't look masculine at all, just a pinch taller and still quite thin. I have a thin wrist and it doesn't look…
