NO LONGER MADE IN USA OR JAPAN. THEY ARE NOW MADE IN KOREA!

I HAVE NOT INSTALLED YET SO I CAN'T TALK ABOUT DURABILITY BUT I AM NOT HAPPY THAT TIMKEN OFFERS PRODUCTION OF THESE PARTS IN KOREA. I WILL LOOK FOR OLD US OR JAPAN BEARINGS BEFORE I DECISION TO KEEP OR INSTALL THEM.

Pros
  • Heavy Duty Axles and Parts
Cons
  • Minor Repairability

Sanding required to remove casting marks

Great product. I had to grind/sand down the casting marks on the edges to mount the rotors. It didn't match the new rotors or those on the car on either side. Having a small air-powered belt sander or a couple of 2-inch grinding wheels that couldn't be tried by hand required a lot of material lifted from the 1990 agreement.

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • Fine

24 year old ASE Technician: Timken makes quality products

Needed for a 1997 Accord, no installation problems. Spend the extra money on a quality product like Timken so you only have to do the job once. I have personally seen wheel bearings fail at parts stores in less than 8 months. The only thing you get under warranty is a different bearing. You will have to pay for the labor again if you hire a repair shop to do the repair.

Pros
  • Parts for heavy and commercial vehicles
Cons
  • Some minor items
