🚗 Enhanced Performance Axle Bearing and Hub Assembly by Timken (Model: HA590203) Review

Had to order a third bearing because the ABS sensor cable was bad on one of the first two and I didn't want to waste time removing the entire bearing simple sensor. Hopefully they last as long as the OEMs.

Don't let the overview fool you, this wheel bearing is about as cheap as it gets. already on the verge of dropping, about a year ago I replaced the driver's side with a cup bearing and it still has no play unlike the Timken.

Bought 2 Timkin hubs. I've always had good luck with the brand. However, after installing the two new hubs, I found that one of the ABS sensors was defective. The cable and sensor look normal, the sensor resistance is out of spec, but with an ohmic resistance and the cables wiggling a few inches from the sensor connector, the signal becomes open. The bearings work great but when the sensor fails it's frustrating.

Revain needs to get rid of the country of origin China as it is AMERICAN MADE! It costs half what a Chinese kid built a Muga from my local parts depot plus the one I made on the other side last week. Let's see what happens next, even if it wasn't a Timken, the fact that the Timken is made in the USA (at least this build) would make it worth buying a Chinese part any day!
