Great for 2006 Tundra 4WD Double Cab

The old bearing had a lot of play in the rubber shock absorber and I sometimes felt vibration from the transmission. It took about half an hour, which took up my sweet time. Please note that there is a slight offset to the tabs which must be taken into account when refitting a new part.

2000 Toyota Tacoma Prerunner - Perfect Fit

I bought this for a 2000 Toyota Tacoma Prerunner. The bearing arrived quickly and in excellent condition. I installed it myself after watching a few YouTube videos of the procedure with similar cars and some advice from friends who have done the job. Everything went smoothly and fit perfectly. No complaints.

  • Center Bearing
Cons

Excellent quality; exactly the same as OEM

Perfect replacement for my Tundra's worn out squeaky thrust bearing. I had to cut off two mounting tabs, but other than that it looks the same as the OEM. Comparing side by side I would guess that TImken actually did an OEM. You don't have to buy a $130 Toyota part, but don't buy a $30 part made in China either. It's the perfect compromise and works as expected. I'll update my review if anything happens in the next 140,000 miles.

Pros
  • Heavy Duty Drive & Transmission
Cons
  • Mostly good, but...
