They look good but appear to be chrome plated. The coating was torn from the wire by very sharp fragments. They not only tore my clothes off, but also cut me.

I love Timmy stainless steel temples! They are very heavy hangers and will not sag under weight like the old plastic or wire hangers! These hangers are perfect for a heavy winter coat or even a jumpsuit - they won't sag under the weight!

I recently moved and wanted to upgrade my plastic hangers. They looked both sleeker and more modern, and felt much more durable than popular fabric options. I was right! They are heavy and have some weight but are very thin so I feel like I can fit more in my closet. Also, it's just nice to have less plastic in my house! Definitely recommend.

This is exactly what I was looking for. They're thicker and sturdier than the cheap wire hangers you get at the dry cleaners, but not so heavy that they're bulky. You have reached the perfect balance. The ridges also hold shirts much better than I expected and my clothes hold up well. This aesthetic is also on top. These hangers look beautiful - much better than the mismatched cheap plastic I was looking to replace.

Do yourself a favor and buy 5 or 6 packs of these hangers (or more if you're a clothes freak) and forget hangers forever! They are much better than plastic hangers as they don't break and actually hold some weight without deforming. In addition, they are also THINNER, so take up less space and are much better for the environment in the long run. Just buy them now.

I'm an old man and I must confess that for a long time I lived with wire coat hangers or plastic hangers that somehow ended up in our closets. With a lack of wire hangers and no laundry on the horizon, I ordered a bunch of these. Someday I'll need a wire from a hanger for some purpose, and then I'll regret replacing them all with these awesome hangers. Now I'm so glad I have these attractive, durable hangers for my shirts.

As per some other reviews I had 2 hangers with no plastic tips to avoid scratching or snagging on clothes (each end pictured). They are much better made than coated metal hangers. I have one (which cracks at corners over time) or plastic that also cracks over time. The hangers are very light and suitable for adult clothes. And these clothes with plastic straps fit perfectly in these grooves without slipping off. You don't have to cross them over a hanging object. I will definitely buy them…

I was damn excited about these hangers and damn disappointed. Not just this $27! (Too expensive for what I got) but the hangers are unreasonably heavy and arrived damaged. The paper holding them together was torn and 11 of them were missing small end caps and weren't in the box? Out of 40 hangers, I shouldn't have that many without the plastic ends so you don't scratch yourself or damage your clothes. These were the best hangers I've ever seen and believe me I've had a lot of metal hangers! They have a plastic tip that covers part of the hook, which is important if the hanger falls and delicate clothing gets caught nearby that could get caught.
