I broke the bumper on my controller after I finished Rage in Doom so I bought it as it was a lot cheaper than buying a new controller. It took a while to disassemble my controller but the new bumper works like a charm :). For those interested in purchasing this bumper, please note that not all controllers have the same parts, so find out which bumper your controller has before purchasing any replacement parts.

The bumper is thicker than the original. Once installed, it pressed the trigger on the same side of the controller I had replaced. So I pulled out my Dremel and sanded down the area on the bumper where the trigger and bumper overlap. After that it worked fine. That doesn't bother me, but the black tone deviates from the original. I don't mind, but someone could do it.

I decided to buy these instead of paying for a new $60 controller and these little parts were worth the money and you have to worry the controller -Housing to take apart but once you have them they fit perfectly but before that I decided to sand the bottom part because I read in the reviews of others that they don't fit perfectly and I don't need it. As long as you tend to take the controller apart and put it back together, it's easy.

quality control is very poor. Even with some slight modifications, this replacement bumper will not perform as well as the original. I drilled holes for the larger hinges (7/64") and had to file some edges just to install them, but the angle of the part that actually presses the tact switch on the circuit board is wrong. When reassembling, the Switch is difficult to turn on and button muffles audible "click".$50 controller
