NOT AS SHOWN in Lighting & Electrical

NOT AS SHOWN. The figure shows nuts and washers with fastening clip. Nuts and washers were not included with the gauge. Unforgivable.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Matches for the face - lighting and electricity

My 53rd anniversary was an electromagnetic style, not a wired sensor. No big deal and the face fitted perfectly. I tested it on my multimeter and it was spot on for the money.

Pros
  • It's amazing
Cons
  • boring packaging

Dangerous. fits spares

This gauge is mounted on a bracket with two cheap easy to penetrate sockets. If you twist the wires too tightly you risk grounding the battery directly to the frame. I almost burned down my tractor and my house. About 60 seconds of smoke and melting wires when I put the battery back in. Terrible design. Restoring the wiring harness cost me $50 in installments. Luckily the wiring harness melted in half otherwise I would have been in a REALLY bad situation. The gas tank is a few inches from the…

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • Not bad but...

Reversed connected for 12V negative ground but otherwise ok

Used in a vintage tractor with a 12V negative ground system When connected normally, the meter showed the opposite reading (e.g. showed discharge when actually charging). Maybe it's because it was originally intended for the positive ground system sometimes used in older tractors. In any case, replacing the wires will solve the problem. When installing, don't over-tighten the back tabs or tear the tiny mounting rail insulator gaskets, which are the only thing keeping you from a massive short…

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Null
