Ideal for carry-on bags - backpacks

I like the options, you can use this bag as a book bag (the straps are sewn on at the top and have a place to 'hide' them if you don't want to use it that way) or you can use it as a messenger bag. There are also handles on the top and side for easy movement. The best part about it is how it opens - it opens like a piece of luggage so the top opens completely, not just the top like a book bag but it gives you the look of a book bag. It's also well constructed and the fabric it's made of feels…

Pros
  • Finally bought
Cons
  • There are new competitors

This saves you $$$ but not the best quality.

Ideal as a personal item for Frontier Airlines. The construction is fragile and I don't expect it to hold up, but that's not the point. Let's say you have 5 rides on this thing (I bet it will take around 5-10). Each method costs about $40 per bag, and you expect to save $360 minus the cost of the bag. No problem if you're trying to travel cheap. I wouldn't use it for a winter trip, but I can carry 4 pairs of underwear, 4 pairs of socks, 1 pair of slip-ons, 1 pair of joggers, 3 pairs of shorts…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Available in black only

This was the perfect personal carry-on!

While it's technically larger than the "personal effects" dimensions listed on the websites of the airlines I've flown with (American, Erlingus, Alaska), nobody stopped me from saying that it was too big to fit under the front seat of me on every flight, even when it was full! I was specifically looking for a backpack that opens like a suitcase because I was tired of things sinking into the abyss of my normal backpacks where I can't get to them, so this worked perfectly for accessing mine…

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Frequency

Great before the strap snaps

Bought this bag on Prime Day a few months ago and finally used it on a weekend trip abroad. I love the size of this bag - it was perfect for a four day trip to cooler climates and the bag wasn't too heavy. I put it on the top shelf but it would fit under my seat if I had to store it there. The functionality of the backpack was great and that is the main reason I bought the bag. Unfortunately, during my drive home, one of the small metal pieces on the backpack's belt buckle broke, rendering it…

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Low repairability
