This stocking set is for my 37 year old sister-in-law who loves crayons. I always make special Christmas stockings for all the children and she hasn't had any of her own - until now. It's going to be a big surprise. This set isn't as easy as the others because you have to cut each piece out of a specific color of felt, but overall the stocking is very pretty.

Unlike many Bucilla Brand Kits I've made, this one says the felt is pre-printed, but that's NOT TRUE! Only large details of stockings and penguin faces are pre-printed! The other colors of felt are blank, and in the set there is paper with patterns that need to be cut out, pinned to the felt and cut out again. What? Forget it! Misleading and unacceptable. I ordered another set after making sure it was the Bucilla brand.

I recently bought this for my daughter. I have made some of these stockings in the past. None of the parts are pre-cut on felt. I love making these stockings and my kids love them but I can't draw. All other kits I have received in the past were stamped on felt and just needed to be cut out. These stockings themselves require a lot of work, but I'm not even going to try.
