I bought it for my one year old niece who refuses to walk in shoes on her feet. She loves them and so does her mother. My niece accompanies her everywhere. They're lightweight and have a snug, comfortable fit that makes them feel like they're wearing socks. She can play outside and get wet. They don't get stuck in their legs and they keep playing. These little shoes are great. I got them for my 2 year old first beach trip. She happily wore them all day long, from surfing to the sidewalk to the pool. Since that trip, she often wears them as outdoor shoes instead of her normal tennis shoes. She can even wear them over her socks. I chose this one over the other models in the hope that the little felt protector on the tip would help keep the elastic material from tearing if she stumbled on the pavement.
