I knew how small it was going to be because I read the measurements unlike several other customers. I hung 5 towels on it and it is NOT too small as others have mentioned. We've had a towel rail like this before, with hooks that had sort of rounded balls on the ends - our towels kept sliding off. I decided to try this style and it works way better! Towels are much more durable (and we used them on giant bath sheets). It's definitely smaller than my previous towel rail, but if I need more space I could just add a 3" rack. And it looks great!

I've bought several of these for different rooms. The product looks elegant in any room and fits most doors. My doors aren't as thick as this product fits, so I used felt pads on the hook bar to keep the doors from rattling when opening and closing. I also added a small bumper to the short side of the metal for the same reason. The manufacturer is recommended to include these pads/bumpers in the product to make adjustments.

Love the look of this product! Clean, modern lines - stainless steel with bamboo for an organic look. It's practical too - just the right size for the back of a bathroom door. My photo shows a large fluffy bath towel, although the photo only shows the top. I can use all the hooks without being cramped - bulky towels, spa style robe, etc. The bathroom door closes easily. Intrigued, I went to Toilet Tree's website and found other beautiful pieces made by this family business.

Very happy with this over door hook set. I used to have two different types of hooks above the door that always prevented the door from being fully closed. It was fine when used on a closet door but this time I wanted one for the bedroom door and so the door still had to be closed. The clearance between my door and the frame isn't very big, so I was looking for something with a thin hook that wouldn't scratch the door frame. I am happy that he comes to my door and still closes it completely…
