The product can be used, I expected a little more.

I shoot on Nikon D5200. Autofocus is not supported on this camera. And sometimes it's hard to catch him. The circle is very sensitive. And in general, so far, not everything is verycomol. I choose wide-angles, and I will try to sell this one. Examples of photos in panorama mode: . Me/getImage? photoId=584969030420&photoType=3 . Me/getImage? photoId=584969030164&photoType=3 . Pros
  • Zoom.
Cons
  • 1. Chromotic aberrations in contrast images are ubiquitous. They are annoying. 2. The viewing angle is not 180, but somewhere around 170. 3. Heavy. 4. Insufficiently clear pictures. Produces no more than 10 megapixels. 5. Overexposure in auto modes.

Well done, but I wont buy any more.

It is said to be the favorite lens of underwater photographers. Interestingly, some people also use it for mirrorless cameras, so as not to spend money on expensive ultra-wide ones. Perhaps, now it makes sense to look at mirrorless cameras, with fish already under them, even if they are manual ones. Pictures from it: . Livejournal.Com/tag/tokina%2022-17%2F3.5-4.5

Pros
  • 1) With 14mm you can use it on full-frame carcasses, and if you cut down the lens hood or take the version without a lens hood, then you can use it with 10mm on FF too! 2) Autofocus! Third party manufacturers mostly offer manual focus fisheye. 3) The price is lower than that of the native 10.5/2.8 DX At this price, it makes no sense to buy a native fisheye! 4) Compact. Cropped zoom-widths will be more overall. 5) Zoom. This is the only zoom fish in the world!
Cons
  • 1) Terribly lame! 2) Cover without the ability to thread the lace. 3) You need to have the skill of shooting fish, not every plot is suitable for it. 4) There is no way to protect the front glass with a filter. 5) No aperture ring - difficult to use on mirrorless 6) Suitable only for cameras with a screwdriver, the rest will have to be focused manually.

I didnΒ³'t expect the quality to be this good.

The stated minimum focusing distance is 140 mm (from the sensor). In reality, the minimum distance from the front edge of the lens is about 4 cm. Wide-angle / fisheye macro is excellent. It is here that oh how autofocus is needed :) As for the picture: HA do not catch the eye (there is a little on the open periphery, but where without it?). Pretty sharp at F3.5 (actually). Colors: normal and dark areas are almost no different from Nikkorov's, but in overexposure there is a purple tint - in…

Pros
  • Small and light with a solid Tokinovsky construct. Autofocus, variable FR. Separate respect: it can also be used on FF (it turns out a wonderful diagonal fisheye in the range of 15-17 mm).
Cons
  • The cast hood in the case is more of a bug than a feature. Apparently made only to attach a nice cover. If it weren’t for the lens hood, then on the FF it would be possible to use it with 10 mm as an almost complete circular one - it could be useful.

I'm very happy with the product, it's very satisfying.

I am satisfied with the purchase. It suits everyone. Got pros: I liked that there is a zoom. You can change the focal length on the spot. It has a minimum focal length of 8mm, which allows you to get quite fishy 12mm on the crop. For comparison, a 16mm fisheye lens (like a Zenitar) on the crop has no fishy 24mm at all, becoming, in fact, wide. And here you can vary all these focal lengths. Before that, I used Samyang. It was a heavy, large lens. On the manual. Compared to this, this one is…

Feel free to buy, for such a price, the quality is simply amazing.

I was looking for this lens for a long time, went to all the stores, and could only buy a used one. lens. For 7 months of use, I can not tear myself away from it! This is a gorgeous lens in every sense! Not only is it sharp, it is also zoom. It fits into the frame much more than on the widths like canon 10-22 or sigma 10-20. Ideal for shooting in tight and narrow spaces. However, it is worth considering that not everyone will like the rounded edges, sometimes this gives a certain frivolity to…

Pros
  • variable focal length, which is unusual for a fish eye, aperture, wide angle, nice rounded edges, sharpness, built-in lens hood, compactness, light weight
Cons
  • it is almost impossible to find it in Hong Kong

Amazing Wide Angle: Camera Lenses

This lens is outstanding and just great! I bought this lens primarily for landscapes, to distort fisheye images. This lens has taken my shots from decent to top notch professional photography. It is ideal for objects such as the Colosseum in Rome, the pyramids in Egypt, the skyscrapers of Chicago and New York. However, they are not the best when looking at photos of people. The colour, exposure and quality are amazing and I would highly recommend it to anyone who loves a fisheye perspective.

Worth every penny: Camera lenses

I'm definitely a layman, but I can speak for the quality of the gear and the photos. I bought this lens based on the reviews and just couldn't be happier with it. I like using it very much and after many comparisons with other comparable lenses I am glad that I chose this one. It's very well made, cheaper than others in its class, and the zoom option makes it an extreme fisheye or just a wide-angle lens. I love it. It is not easy. The only thing I could see as a disadvantage is that the lens is

Maybe better than the Nikon 10.5mm

If you're looking at this lens and shooting with a Nikon, you're probably trying to decide between the Nikon 10.5mm and this Tokina 10-17mm. I shot both with a Nikon 10.5mm Fisheye. and this tokina is 10-17mm and i have to say that this tokina is more versatile than nikon because of the zoom range and honestly the sharpness seems about the same between these two lenses. As expected, Nikon is made to a slightly better quality, but the quality of this Tokina is above standard. I wish this lens…
