I bought it for my daughter in a men's size, as they are usually a bit wider than women's sizes (and there weren't even women's sizes back then). When they arrived she couldn't even put her foot in her shoe. The canvas is insanely stiff and the little elastic didn't work on them. Needless to say they have been returned. Thank you for the uncomplicated return at the UPS store!
