🌱 Tom's of Maine Spearmint Antiplaque Dental Floss - Natural, Waxed, 32 Yards Review

The product was recommended to me by my dentist. After trying Tom's yarn I found it to be superior to other yarns on the market in every way. Thick and waxy enough to thoroughly clean even hard-to-reach areas. Doesn't wear out as quickly, which prevents it from getting tangled during dental work. Good taste too. So three thumbs up for Tom. Essential for those who are serious about oral hygiene.

This dental floss is too thick and too abrasive. I can feel it scraping the edges of my teeth like fine sandpaper. I don't want my teeth to wear out from this; so i won't use it. I do not recommend.

I've been using dental floss for who knows how long. it is just awful, it kills and penetrates between the teeth with great difficulty and kills the protruding gums, also with great difficulty. I do not recommend. PS I love their toothpastes.

As much as I appreciate a brand like "Tom's" for offering a more natural and safer alternative to other, more popular commercial yarns, unfortunately I can't Flossing between my teeth. First, the thread is too thick. When I first tried flossing my teeth, I had trouble getting it between my teeth because it was so thick. This dental floss is great for deep cleaning. I really feel like my teeth and gums are a lot cleaner with this floss compared to standard floss or even glide style floss. Plus it has many natural properties and isn't as expensive as the new coconut oil coated ones (which is why I looked for an alternative and found Tom's)! However, for the price, I really would have liked a little more. I will still continue to buy!

I used a lot of thread. cheap things that felt like fishing line and cut my fingers, thick ribbons that I couldn't get my teeth through, and just about everything else. This stuff is great. It has a slightly rough texture that's great for holding and removing stubborn food debris. It's also thick enough - for me at least - that I don't have to move it all over the room to make sure I get everything, nor is it so thick that it doesn't fall into tighter gaps.

My teeth are tight. And I don't usually have a problem with B-mouth floss, but I'm trying to be a bit more conscious of what I'm putting into my body etc. Anyway, this floss definitely meets the requirements of a non-toxic, eco-friendly environment (and scent). great)....but it's a bit like using a nylon leash! And if I can get it between my molars, I have to pull it along the gum line, because trying to pull the anchor line through tight gaps seems like I'm about to pull a tooth out.
