Tim Holtz 370 Paper Distresser: Efficient Tool for Tonic Studios Papercrafts Review

I almost bought it once but changed my mind after reading the reviews. I recently saw a video by Tim Holtz showing how to use it and decided to buy it. I tried this and am happy with the results. It works better on cards, labels or file folders than paper unless you can think of a way to hold the paper at each end and tool. I've found that if I touch up the edges of the item I want to age first, it doesn't take as much back and forth, but then I have to recolor.

Good for aging the edges of paper but not as good as folding/wetting/tearing the edges from the cutout. However, it does add some texture to smooth-cut edges. I found it easier to use heavier weight watercolor paper and card stock than regular printer paper. The small amount of distress this tool creates is enough to make the distressed ink (applied with a dab or smear) much darker than the rest of the page. Amazing little thing! Love it! In fact, I use it more often than my much more expensive tools that I've bought for the same task.
