Worked well on my SnapOn to the box lid. What I don't like is that they came with a sticker as if they had been rebranded. I've never seen suspa on them or made anywhere in the US. A little suspicious.

I use the Suspa brand lifts all the time for all purposes on all my vehicles. They are reliable and last longer than original equipment which only has a lifespan of around 10 years. Easy to install and high quality replacement part.

This is the second time I buy these gas springs. The first lasted almost a year and a half. A quick web search showed me that the larger cylinder needed to be mounted on top to lubricate the seal. I had mine and both managed to dry up and fail within a month. 4 stars until I can prove the crash was solely my user's fault.

I used them as spare parts for my truck. They were the perfect size and a direct replacement for mine. They are very easy to install, don't do what I did and try taking the ends apart to connect to the ball joints on your truck. Just stick them on the ball. No need to remove the metal bracket. All you have to do is pull the metal tab if you want to remove it. My RV's rear window now opens like a boss. Great replacement part. December 2018
