These are nice lights but I have them on a temporary outlet. The lighting setting reverts to that weird, extremely distracting strobe light setting when the timer expires. As if it's so bright and fast that it seems dangerous for people with epilepsy. I don't know why the manufacturers made it so that the setting resets every time the power is turned off (a different type of switch could prevent this). Still, I wouldn't buy it again for this reason. But they are beautiful.

These are the most beautiful icicles I have ever had! I love that at the end of each strand is a heavy piece of plastic that looks like a real icicle. Not only does this look good, but it also keeps them weighted down and less likely to get tangled in the wind. The only reason for 4 stars is that it only works with a 6 hour timer. You can't turn on or set the timer all the time. I keep her so pretty! I just have to keep turning them on and off and resetting them. (They work great 6 hours at 6pm

They are unique when it comes to icicle lamps. Wind. -8 modes, but by default it keeps switching between them every time you turn them on. -If you need a specific pattern, you must use a timer and you will be stuck at six hours of use. - wiring thin thin caliber. -The packaging is terrible, take an hour to unravel these things. Even if they last a season I will not use them again. The inability to pick a mode and forget about it is awkward.

We received 3 sets to add this lighting to our home and we were able to install them fairly quickly. There are 8 modes to choose from and you can string up to 3 strings together. These lights look nice but there are a few design quirks that I'm returning the lights: 1) The 100ft cord actually exists from two 50 foot cords. That would be nice, but YOU CAN'T CONNECT THEM END-TO-END. This means the power connector is in the CENTER of the 100ft string.
