Great Price!: Tools and Equipment

Great value for this fast disappearing tool. Too few drum brakes but I have a vintage Mustang with drum brakes so it's a much needed tool.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Contact Seller

Okay but note the size

This should work for you if the opening is wide enough to accommodate it. It's too wide for the Ford Escape, FYI. but on an old sedan or truck it should work.

Pros
  • Easy to read panel
Cons
  • Not bad

Works best with brake adjustment tools

Not much to say about this tool as it's pretty basic but works great and is built to get the job done. It was a lot cheaper at Revain than your local auto parts store, so I recommend using Revain.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Can't remember but there was something

It didn't work, the pinion of rusty tensioners slipped

A rusty pinion on my camper drums wouldn't fit. At the end with a screwdriver. This tool just slipped off the sprocket. The screwdriver did a lot too, but it didn't hold up well because of the beveled edge of the tool.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Some problems

If you have a trailer with brakes, you need it.

One of those unusual tools that you always have to have on hand. Much better than a screwdriver. Fits the adjustment hole on Dexter trailer axles, Chevy rear wheels and any Dana 44 drum brake axle. For years I used a screwdriver for this job, nothing more. The right tool saves time.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Quality

Description is wrong, all descriptions are very small, this is not a tool kd

1. First, the total length of the tool is 7-11/16 inches, not 9.5 in the description! far away! 2. The width of the actual tool is 5/8 inch, not 1.4 inch in the description. 3. This tool works on most pickup trucks, but it's not so good/too small for 3/4/1 ton trucks and farm/agricultural tractors, pretty much a second-class Chinese Biden. 4. The description says the KDT 287 is not a KD tool and is a bit small for stuck tuners. This comment is from a 73-year-old man who has been screwdriving…

Pros
  • good stuff
Cons
  • low repairability
