I had the same issue as other low rated reviewers. I liked this hair dryer. Super light, big performance. Unfortunately, the components inside are too fragile to hold it lightly. I was lucky that my dryer lasted a full year, just after the warranty expired the knocking started. The fan blade is cracked, has started to tear from the inside and there is no way to replace it. If you buy, be prepared to replace it fairly quickly.

I purchased this item on January 6th of this year. I've had it for 9 months now and this horrible death rattle sounds like it's about to explode right next to my head. Hot air comes out in bursts and to be honest it doesn't feel safe. It was great for 9 months. Unfortunately, I liked this hair dryer. I think it's time to find another hair dryer.

I needed a very light weight portable hair dryer to replace my heavier version after shoulder problems were causing me a lot of pain and recovery time. This dryer has served its purpose! Extremely low weight with high drying efficiency at the same time.

I like this hair dryer for its drying performance and light weight, but after 10 months it started making a rattling noise and then smoked. I called the manufacturer and they exchanged it. If you call the manufacturer directly they will send you a new one if still under warranty. Most of them have a 7 year guarantee. 800-487-8769

This was my favorite hair dryer (and I bought it a second time after the first one stopped working after over a year of use). I love it because of all the hair dryers I have tested at Ulta before ordering online. This one has a really hot setting, but the "high" setting doesn't blow your hair like a jet engine. It was good when it worked! This is my first hair dryer that only lasted 4 months! That's all! I liked it because it dries fast, is less frizzy and light weight BUT the motor blew out today after only 4 months of use! Ridiculous! I wish I had read the reviews before buying this piece of junk!
