My old hair dryer died and I really liked this hair dryer so I bought this one which is exactly the same as my old one just a different model. I'll update this review in nine months, I've bought a lot of hair dryers that don't last that long. Although it feels good from the front, light for its size, strong airflow and some tweaks. Switch in bad place. However, I'm not sure where else they could have placed them, upstairs? In an elevator with a heat shield? With lid? I'm just not sure, but where they are, it's not great. So far so good, I hope it stays that way and I like it very much.

I have a friend who has a similar package that she bought from Sally for $60. I liked it, dried my hair in 10 minutes. I have a lot of hair and my hair is very thin so drying my hair at high altitude will kill my ends. I use this hair dryer high and it doesn't bother my ends. I've been using this hair dryer for two years now and no signs of failure. I have fairly thick long hair and it dries it instantly with little to no damage. I love hot instruments!

I did A LOT of research before purchasing because I want a product that will last a long time and work great. Even though I've only had it about a month, I still love it - and I've bought other Hot Tools items in the past that are still doing well years later! I like the cold/warm/hot and high/low modes. Have used this dryer for many years and have just replaced it. I looked at others and settled on what I knew was a great dryer. Works perfectly!

The hair dryer is a good dryer with good cold, warm and hot air settings and high and low speeds. The downside is that the handle sometimes gets very hot after just a short use. Also, the buttons are on the handle, which is a bit annoying because holding the dryer in your hand sometimes turns it off. String isn't the best. The cord broke on 09/16/2017 due to normal use without wrapping it around the dryer like most people do. I almost got electrocuted while blow drying my hair.

Good hair dryer. I had 2 Hot Tools hair dryers, both lasted exactly a year. Returned to Remington. Left behind because I couldn't find a hot Remington hair dryer, they were all just warm air. Hair dryers with hot tools get pretty hot. Remington fixed that problem so let's see if they last as long as the old ones I had.

These HOT tools retail for a lot more. The device has a high speed and fast drying. This is my third purchase based on these developing electric shorts and a few drops. Teenage Children! They usually last about two years and dry long hair quickly. Too bad its life cycle is limited depending on how quickly it dries.
