Description of πŸ”§ Enhanced Tools QUICK GRIP C Clamp 8 Inch 225108: Strong and Efficient Fixing Solution

Larger handle on this c-clamp makes it easier to apply torque for more clamping pressure with less hand fatigue. Double-threaded screw reduces screw deflection and drift for faster clamping and allows you to apply 50% more clamping force than with most clamps. For woodworkers, carpenters, welders, builders, or do-it-yourselfers. Suitable for general clamping needs. Larger swivel pad reduces marring on work surface and increases stability.

Extremely strong in C-Clips

The only thing I don't like is that I would like a longer shaft grip for more torque. I use it to press calipers and make sure the pistons don't stick to cars/trucks.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Unsafe

Best Value Best C Clamps

Well compressed and strong, the branches of several brands together seem to be more than most brands. Brand I have been using this brand for many years with the same quality

Large, durable clip: C-clamps

The description says 8" which means it can hold an 8" object. Actual grip length is slightly longer (People who use them regularly probably already knew that)

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Empty

Well built and big

Very well built no problem. When I bought this I figured it would be 8 inches from the end of the handle to the other side when closed. It was my fault. By the way, he weighs about 5 pounds. 8 inches is a revelation.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • weak

upset. The brackets I received are not.

Disappointed. The clips I received are not what are pictured. Irwin has 2 types of clamps and I have both. The one in the photo is more substantial than the one I received. I could buy a less durable clamp from our local farm and fleet for less. They do work, but not as tightly.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Outdated

good strong clamp: hand tool

I bought this to use in the auto repair shop. It's good and well done. Caliper retractor piston. The threads are fine and it is not easy to screw the screw in or out with a finger. Coarse thread clamps are better for this, but they're sloppy for general clamping and go sideways. I recommend a light oil on the moving parts and this clamp will last for years.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • I'll write later

I use it to hold my wood together

Other sites said to drill a hole in wood and put a big bolt in it to hold the cracked wood together but that would only damage it more. It clips around the outside and holds it together well. I don't mind a blue clip on my tree. It's cheap enough to last outside for years and looks like it's going to be pretty weatherproof, we'll see. I would prefer aluminum but that would be fine.

Pros
  • For carpenters, carpenters, welders, master builders or do-it-yourselfers. Suitable for general clamping requirements.
Cons
  • Can't remember

good strong clamp in hand tools

I bought this one to use at the dealership. It is good and well made. The last one is slightly larger than some and has a thicker radius. It is bulky for running in caliper pistons. and it is not easy to turn the screw in or out with a finger. Coarse-thread clamps are better for this, but they're sloppy for general clamping and go sideways. and this clamp should last for years.

Pros
  • The larger handle of this clamp makes it easier to apply torque for more clamping force with less hand fatigue.
Cons
  • The cord is shorter than other picks

Good clamps, bad packaging damaged them.

Irwin clamps are fine but the carrier did not try to pack them well. They simply threw four heavy iron clips into a box, each in a thin plastic bag, stuffed a couple of airbags inside, and shipped them. This caused the heavy clamps to hit each other during transport, not only destroying the beautiful blue paint, but also scratching the cast iron, resulting in sharp edges that I had to file down. I bought these instead of other C clamps because of the blue enamel which makes them pleasant to…

Pros
  • Larger swivel plate reduces the risk of scratching the work surface and improves stability.
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
