Better master!

I was pleasantly surprised at how good the quality is! I can't afford Snapon but they really are better than my Craftsman pliers.

Excellent goods. I became addicted.

Was like that at work in the field. Had to give the company back when I retired. I liked it so much that I bought one to play around with at home.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Not all fit

Poor quality for power tools and hand tools

They were not very well made and the handles were scratched and very bent. They want more from Irwin. I know it's just pliers, but I'm picky about my tools.

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • Easily repairable

Top Quality Needle Nose Pliers

After reading many negative reviews about other brands, including well-known brands, I gave Irwin a try. These are full size tongs, not miniature tongs... The tips are perfect for a secure grip, the swivel is precision machined and the grip is comfortable. I'm picky about my hand tools and these pliers are a welcome addition.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Frequency

Also works well for those of us with small hands

I use them for a variety of jobs, working on hawk edges. I've used them for everything from attaching large bandages to hawk legs to repairing traps and removing stubborn weeds. They have a lot of leverage, which is good because I have small hands and any leverage I can get is very helpful. Durable and great price.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Vulgarity

It's ok, not as good as Knipex

These pliers "wobble" a bit, i.e. the loop is not as precise as it could be with comparable comfort pliers from Knipex like this one: https :/ /www. amazon.com/Knipex-2622200SBA-Angled-Pliers-Comfort/dp/B003RWS97Y/ But it is definitely sufficient for occasional use and the price is right. If you really need an accurate tool, spend the extra money and buy Knipex.

Pros
  • Quality design
Cons
  • There are quirks

A very useful addition to my tool box

I bought it along with the 6" version and have been very happy so far. Needle nose pliers are used differently than needle nose pliers and I didn't think I needed a set until I bought one. Now I have two pairs lol. They appear to be of the same premium quality as a 6-inch pair, as expected. I love this style of tongs and will buy extra pairs when I need them. So I would suggest buying a set before deciding you need it. highlighted.

Pros
  • Has a sturdy chrome nickel steel construction.
Cons
  • unreliable

Disappointing - Pliers

I've been using Irwin tools for a long time. They're not the best, but usually acceptable in terms of value for money. Well, that doesn't appear to be the case with these pliers. I ordered them to replace a pair I lost in a landfill. The first ones I received had unacceptable "play" or wobble (as another buyer put it) on the hinge. This second pair wobbles less, but there is still free play and the pins aren't up to scratch. While waiting for the second pair, I ordered a pair of Stanley pliers.

Pros
  • Machined jaws provide maximum gripping power. The induction-hardened cutting edge stays sharp longer.
Cons
  • I have doubts
