I use it as an adult with a small mouth, it reaches to my molars. It has so many little bristles that I seem to have gotten better at cleaning them. I'm not sure why people are talking about mold. What adult doesn't sanitize their toothbrush every few days?! Soak in mouthwash when done. You should do the same with your plastic bottles, by the way.

I love this timeless toothbrush! The bristles are super soft! and I really like that the brushes are different colors so kids can easily figure out which one is theirs. The soft bristles are great for gums, don't hurt kids at all, but clean just as well! The only issue I have is that the brushes get dirty more easily and quickly than a standard plastic toothbrush and bamboo is difficult to keep clean when wet. But I would still prefer them to the plastic ones.

Update: Customer service has been great for her. I didn't ask for a refund but they contacted me and gave it anyway. They are just very pushy to make sure everything is ok including a customer service check. I used them for myself and not for a child and the bristles were stiff, they are also very thin which I think adds to the edge. Terrible at removing plaque and food particles from children's teeth. Only used 5 days but noticed after brushing teeth got very dirty. I literally scraped food off her front teeth right after brushing (both kids had this problem, not just one). I suspect because the bristles are too soft and sparse it can't even shed particles, let alone clean anything. Also, the bristles looked like regular toothbrushes in just 5 days after 2 months. I love the packaging of this product. Each toothbrush comes in an individual recyclable box, and all come in a recyclable box as well. They stay clean and don't smell. My child keeps it and the suitcase when wet. There is never an odor or any problems or residue. I am very happy with this product and look forward to supporting more products from this brand. For reference, each of these three toothbrushes was used once a day for 42 days. The green brush was used by a five year old child, the blue brush was used by an eight year old child and the pink brush was used by a ten year old child.
