Update: Customer service has been great for her. I didn't ask for a refund but they contacted me and gave it anyway. They are just very pushy to make sure everything is ok including a customer service check. I used them for myself and not for a child and the bristles were stiff, they are also very thin which I think adds to the edge. The bristles are also thin, making it impossible to clean the tongue as well. Otherwise everything is more than good, only with the bristles I have such a big problem
