This toothpaste has an unusual taste that hides under the mint, almost like vinegar. It cleans the teeth very well. I cannot confirm that it is able to cure periodontitis. It hasn't improved my gums but I've only been using it for a month. Another weird thing about toothpaste is that it contains little bits of something that sometimes gets stuck in your mouth.
