Must-have item for sports

You need this accessory for your Topeak bike stand. This prevents the front wheels from "skidding" in different directions. Buy it when buying a stand.

Pros
  • That's awesome
Cons
  • No instructions

Keeps my bike straight

Perfect for keeping my mountain bike wheel straight. Retractable and wide enough to work with my 29" tire which is wide and uncomfortable.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • So far so good

A worthy addition to stand mounting. does the job.

Worthy addition to the complete stand. Does the job as advertised but awkward to switch left/right/forward/backward when turning bikes in opposite directions and reinstalling the stabilizer bar.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Essential but not perfect

Essential stand accessory but seems to need a more elegant solution. The handlebars must be just the right distance from the hook every time you lift the bike. The hook also doesn't fit the handlebars perfectly, especially where there are cables and other things on the handlebars.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Very expensive

Necessary but the only cheap part of the kit

This hook prevents the handlebars from rocking when the bike is on the dedicated stand. The hook falls too close to the stem which on most of my bikes is occupied by a computer or device. The hook extends, but not easily enough to avoid repositioning the bike to straighten the handlebars. It serves its purpose adequately and is seldom used in other stands, but does not live up to the same high standard as the rest of the stand.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Almost never
