Not-so-Smart Dimmer Disappointment

When I tried this product, I was left unimpressed with its unreliable connectivity and difficult installation process.

Repair existing cables for these devices. A MUST YOU DO

Bye 4☆. The only reason it's 4 is because it's regular three-way wiring in the directions it tells you. As an electrician I can say that this is not the case. On rare occasions I run neutral on both sides. If there are multiple switches on the other side, there may be a neutral wire. If it is, then you need to make sure it's on the same circuit, otherwise it won't work. In any event, mine obviously didn't have a neutral wire on either side because that's how I wired it, because probably 99…

Good, but not quite perfect

I've been waiting to buy this wifi scene controller since it was announced at CES 2019. When I found out it was available to order in January 2020 I quickly ordered two to complete my home smart switch setup. I have experience with older Lutron RadioRA switches and dimmers and their 5 button step control. I was hoping for a similar experience. Overall this 8 button scene controller is very handy and is currently the only WiFi scene controller on the market so I'm glad it's available. However…
