Reliable product, will not power Topping L30 preamp

Reliable linear power supply. I bought it to power my E30 and L30 DAC/Amp stack. However, the L30 preamp is rated for AC, not DC, so it won't work. Also the form factor is different so it didn't look good.

Pros
  • Regular price
Cons
  • Makes me nervous

The difference in sound is (to me) nominal.

Good batch. Works fine, no power to DAC and amp. Suitable for a50s and d50s. Reviews say it's likely to have little effect unless you're in an ultra-high electrical noise environment. However, for that price you could get a refurbished portable DAC/amplifier! Your ears will be different.

Pros
  • Looking forward to
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly

It's worth investing in a home theater

If you have D50s and a high-resolution audio system, you'll definitely appreciate the sound improvement. It didn't affect the A50 with Sundaras and U12T in any way to my ears, but it does make the D50 smoother at high frequencies, with a larger soundstage and more organic sound compared to an external battery. The D50's are much better now, and the most obvious difference I've noticed is on my Emotiva AMP amp with B&W 603 speakers.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • I'm worried

Excellent power supply for home theater

This thing is built like a tank. I was very surprised at the weight of this item when it first arrived. Considering how small it is, it's quite heavy. There is a YouTube video of a man running a test with and without the PSU installed. I wish I could remember which one, but it definitely improves the sound quality noticeably. It kind of "opensโ€ the music. I never really believed in such things until I saw his video. Remember I saw it on TV and through my system and could still hear it. I'mโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Professionals only
Cons
  • Big and chunky

Improved ergonomics

This power supply aims to improve DAC output and provide more stable performance. Whether you actually hear a difference depends on the rest of your equipment, and most importantly, your ears. I didn't hear much of a difference, but I'm glad I understood. The power adapter offers various ways to power your device(s). In addition to the power cable for the power supply itself, there are two short cables and one long cable in the kit. Since I stacked everything on top of each other, I decided toโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Value for money
Cons
  • Some problems

Strong as a brick for home theater

Arrived early. Well packaged with all necessary cables. The instructions are not in English, but they are not needed. You can check the information on YouTube or find the PDF file online. Even 12 hours later, mine still feels cold. Maybe because I have it in a cool basement there is a place around it. Unfortunately, I cannot judge the sound quality. Mine is connected to a Topping D30 with the original signal coming from an old SACD Marantz DV6000. When installing the P50 I found that I hadโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Upgrades

I used this power supply to power 2 Topping E30 DACs (@ 5V) and a Rolls DA134 (@ 15V ) to be powered - polarity must be reversed! ) . A 5V output was tested while the other two outputs were under load: the Rolls drew only 15mA at 15V and the other E30 drew 321mA at 5V. The 5V output tested showed 5.019V open circuit, 4.953V on E30 idling and 4.948V on E30 running. The E30 drew 275-295mA at idle and 321mA in the working state. At idle or idling, the E30 had 1mV broadband noise when powered fromโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • For seniors

ATTENTION TO ALL BUYERS: USB outputs are for D50/D50s, another output with round power supply on both Ends for DX3 and I think for A50. It's nowhere in the manual. I plugged the round adapter into my D50's AC input and the D50's display showed "Protect". I checked the fuses in the P50 and they were fine. I've searched the internet as to why the D50 went into protection mode and found nothing. I looked at the back of the P50 and saw that it had 2 different output voltages and that the USB was 5v

Pros
  • It's done
Cons
  • It's hard to remember but it was
