Description of TORCHSTAR 4 Inch Recessed Dimmable Downlight

Ultra-Thin: Only needing 2 inches of clearance thanks to the ultra-thin design, this deluxe LED recessed ceiling light is the superior choice for narrow ceilings that can’t fit a housing can. The solidly built metal spring clips firmly hold the light, making installing it easier and longer-lasting. Waterproof Design: This light can be used in wet locations thanks to the unique waterproof male and female connectors. This radiant ultra-thin LED downlight’s junction box is thermally protected, and the IC rating lets it be in contact with insulation. You don’t have to worry about these lights overheating or causing a fire. Flexible Lighting: This regal light’s brightness can be smoothly dimmed from 100% to 10% and is compatible with most dimmers on the market. The 1000 beam angle and CRI90 make it a top choice for closets, kitchens, hallways, doorways and even basements. Trusted Efficiency: ETL & Energy Star certified, this ultra-thin panel light only needs 10.5W to deliver 680lm of brightness. Assured Quality: This light can be used for all new construction, remodels, and retrofit installations. The aluminum light body guarantees its 40,000hrs lifespan, and it comes backed by a 5-year warranty.

Excellent product: Electric

Very excellent product. For the price I would buy again. The processing of the lanterns themselves looks very solid. Installation was easy thanks to the supplied template and connectors. Your dimming skills with a Lutron dimmer are great. I have attached some photos for reference. The photo isn't the best quality, but you can see the difference in light output in the shadows. The only downside is that one of the junction boxes didn't work right away for some reason. When I swapped out the…

Contractor who loves these

This is the fourth time I have purchased a large number of Premium Torch Star LED lights in the 4000k version. I am a contractor and am very impressed with the quality of The Torchstar's premium edition and brand. I've tried several other brands and the junction boxes and springs were just rubbish. I understand some people were upset that the hole had to be a little over 6 inches, but for me I didn't see anything wrong with that. absolutely no problem. I use a drywall scriber, mark a 6 1/8"…

Great alternative to cabin lighting

Very clean and professional looking. Slim design works very cool. Very easy to install. Just follow the instructions and use the template provided to make the holes as the holes themselves need to be larger than 6 inches. The Wago-style connectors are a big plus, even if they're a bit tricky to cram into the J-Box. I wired six of these together, connecting one to my existing main light and then simply connecting and running the Romex to the next using the connectors provided. It's a walk in the

Super easy to install and BRIGHT!

This is AWESOME! We've installed over 30 of these throughout the house and refurbished some of the older fixtures including some old fluorescents. They are clean and smooth and the daylight color is beautiful. They worked with some of the super cheap dimmers I bought from Revain as well as some VERY old dimmers we have at home. With my cheap dimmers, they start flickering at very low levels, which is to be expected. If that bothers you, buy a good dimmer. Cheap ones are like that. Cheap…

Stunning design, excellent quality and functionality

Great solution for lighting modernization. Installing a back box into an existing drywall or plaster ceiling used to be a challenge. While you'll still need to cut holes to weave the wire through the ceiling, instead of attaching hangars to the joists, you may need to access the area from above (if it's an unfinished attic) and then work your way around Construction take care Heat is all gone, the light itself is 1/2 inch tall, drywall clamps and a wire connection to a box the size of two decks
