Good card Memory cards

I bought this card for my professional Nikon camera because it is fast, the memory card has been around for a long time and it was relatively cheap. It works great and hasn't let me down yet. What else can I say?

Pros
  • Durable workmanship
Cons
  • Mediocre

Cheaper alternative Lexar 1000X

Runs about the same speed on my computer and camera as the Lexar 1000X for slightly less money (at least in the Gold Box case). I got 120MB/s read and 60MB/s write with a Lexar card reader on a new Macbook Pro. On my Nikon D800E, the number of shots before the buffer was full was almost the same at 21 frames for an uncompressed 14-bit NEF photo. The things this card doesn't give you compared to Lexar is life-saving software, a lifetime warranty, and Lexar's excellent RMA process. I don't really

Pros
  • Regular price
Cons
  • Not bad

I bought it as a gift for my husband who is a photographer. There doesn't seem to be any complaints about the item so I assume it must be good. I remember him telling me that he wanted it precisely because of the speed at which photos could be processed on the memory card as they were taken. He's a sports photographer by the way, so he needs a fast memory card.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • It worries me

Works great with Nikon D800e

Works great with my D800e. No issues and seems fast although this is my first card at this speed. I usually use Sandisk or Transcend cards but may consider others for cost reasons.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Damaged

Garbage Electronics

Good working card but broke after a few months of use. Toshiba support is only available by phone which is a waste of time. There is no way to email them and there are no warranty return instructions on their website. Wasted time, I will never buy again.

Pros
  • Wide range
Cons
  • Poor instructions

An INCREDIBLY fast card! and IT'S WORTH IT.

I was hesitant to buy this card but I have to say (with all my heart!) it's a VERY bad FAST card! THANK YOU Toshiba! RAW and JPG in 5D MKII is way more than I can record! MAKE SURE this card works when you insert it into the camera you intend to use. Review all photos before you start serious photography. This is a great card with a great guarantee!

Pros
  • easy to use
Cons
  • unreliable

Didn't work in Computers & Accessories

When I received the compact flash card I tried it immediately and my camera said there was something wrong with the CF card. So now I have to send it back.

Pros
  • glittery
Cons
  • flimsy
