I was trying to reduce the exhaust noise on my Civic SI 06 a bit. It worked. I have a 3" cutback and am welding it on to replace the old resonator.

Added to existing exhaust system to slightly reduce noise on 01gmc Sierra. Had to use 3" to 2-3/4" fittings to match it to the exhaust but the quality seems amazing great welds everything looks great. Sounds good too.

I removed the factory muffler and resonator on my 2011 Silverado with 6.2L engine and right after replaced it with a total flow muffler with 12" dynamic range, fell out in front of the rear axle. I was pleasantly surprised it wasn't a wild straight pipe as I basically wanted the truck to breathe! Cuts high rasps very effectively. Growls, Listerine wheezes and low tones are present. Excellent sound and performance paired with single chamber TotalFlow on v8. No hum, no gasp, no hating neighbors, just pure V8 sound. I chose them because TotalFlow uses a stainless steel mesh in the pass-through muffler as cheap double glazing is just fiberglass which eventually burns/decomposes from exhaust moisture and gets louder over time.
