Loved this spreader! Excellent quality and very unique. The price was good too. but it was a gift and it was packaged so poorly that the wood was cracked on arrival. There wasn't enough time for an exchange, so I had to donate. So disappointed! It should have been wrapped in something but unfortunately it was just thrown in an envelope and not protected. Full of crap.

I really like the look and it's nice to have a separate measuring spoon, especially a tablespoon and a teaspoon as those measurements are commonly used. I checked how accurate the spoon is and it's a little off. Each side is slightly smaller than the suggested measurement. To be accurate you need to add up your measurements. I would only use this for cooking not baking as the measurements are wrong.

Nice. I washed it with warm soapy water before use. I deducted a star for using it in a casserole, but when I tried the flavor the spoon tasted bitter. I immediately changed the dishes and it was perfect. Not sure if it's paint or sealant but it should be food safe. Now I'm hesitant to use it in warm applications, maybe just for mixing batter. I was hoping it would be functional and not just decorative.

Have been using them with cast iron cookware almost daily for a few weeks now. They are sealed very well, drops of water roll off them, after about 2 weeks the effect was no longer so noticeable, but it was definitely still there. The stains are also extremely minimal, only one has a stain and it's my fault I didn't wash it for hours after making the wine stew, so the tip is slightly purple now, not too bad. I love this cookware and will never go back to plastic.

I thought this tablespoon/teaspoon would be great for us as we use these measurements on a daily basis and the numbers of the spoons that come with our standard measuring spoon set become, are worn out. The colors are rich and beautiful, and the wood is smooth and pleasant to the touch. However, the shells are too small and not even remotely accurate. I put a real tablespoon of flour on the end of this spoon and it didn't come close to matching in size. See photo. Maybe this spoon was meant for
