Totes Titan sizing misrepresented

The large dome is very good at 47 inches but its folded length is advertised as 12.75 inches. I thought it was the length of the folded canopy, not the length with the handle. My old umbrella was 12 inches when folded and 15 inches overall including the handle. I'm not interested in a short, cropped umbrella.

Pros
  • Excellent Overall Performance
Cons
  • Reliability

I was very disappointed with this purchase and returned it immediately

I was very disappointed with this purchase and returned it immediately The canopy size is significantly smaller than what was described. Another reviewer also mentioned this. but I didn't see it before buying it. The quality of the metal frame is also cheap. I expected a lot more from a bag brand. I see no reason for anyone to buy this product.

Pros
  • Sturdy workmanship
Cons
  • Concise instructions

Umbrella size is 43 inches, not 47 inches

It's bigger than most umbrellas these days, but I couldn't find anyone stating the actual size of the umbrella. For curious minds, this is 43 inches, not 47. Never believe the advertised size, even if it says dome, even though the actual product says 47 inches of coverage, whatever that means. Not sure how to cover 4 inches more than size. And no, I don't believe the 70 mile claim either. Not that I've ever tried it. At that speed, you've got bigger problems than an umbrella. But overall it…

Pros
  • There's something to that
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Disappointing Totes 70 mph Umbrella is not windproof

Purchased September 2017 Totes 70 mph Windproof Titanium Auto Open Close Umbrella. The umbrella looked and felt sturdy enough to withstand the New England weather. Used an umbrella during multiple rains, winds and blizzards and the problems started. The umbrella opened normally at first, but was difficult to close when I pressed the button to open. It got stuck and I had to shake it to close it. There was a very strong wind day and the umbrella fell over due to the strong wind and now the spoke

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • disappears

Looks like I'm the first person to PAY for an umbrella to leave a review. It seems like everyone else is (as of 7/10/17) "reviews of free Vine advertising sites," so here's an unbiased review from the person who actually spent $38.16 (taxes included) to get this umbrella to get. 7/10/17) that this umbrella is a very recent release. I could not find this part number on the Totes website or in the product listing. As far as I can tell, this umbrella will be the latest in a line of Totes products…

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Not as good as it says
