Description of ๐Ÿ”ด Tough-1 Red 75In Snuggit Turnout, 1200D, 300g Weight

1200 Denier Poly, heavy material strength, recommended for horses that may bite or chew on blanket or horses turned out with a companion or in groups. Material may tear or rip if caught on a nail, rough fencing, or thorns from bushes. Adjustable neck easily adjusts to create a custom fit. 300g Polyfill provides medium/heavy warmth and protection from wind and rain. 210 Denier Poly lining prevents rubbing and helps to keep the coat shiny while preventing hair, shavings, and straw from sticking to the inside of the blanket. Waterproof coated outer shell with taped seams and seamless spine repels water to keep your horse dry.

Not worth the investment

Based on my observations, this horse blanket falls short on durability and quality. It fails to keep my horse warm and dry during colder weather, and seems to wear down quickly despite its high price. While it may be marketed as a tough and durable product, it certainly hasn't held up to my expectations. The only positive aspect is that it is available through Pet Supplies, but even that doesn't make it worth purchasing in my opinion.

Pros
  • Durable and made with 1200D material for long-lasting wear.
Cons
  • May not fit all horses comfortably due to its Snuggit design.

Beautiful blanket Cheap hooks.

Nice heavy blanket but belly hooks are cheap and keep coming loose. For the price you'd think they could have better hooks that stay attached.

Great blanket in the horse

The blanket fits great, nice and warm. It was 33 below freezing for our 29 year old horse last week and he didn't even look cold! Not washed yet but looks very good. However, it should not be left out in the warmer months as when it falls below freezing again crackling ice is left between the layers of the quilt so we assumed the quilt was not breathing enough if left outside for a day when the temperature rose above freezing. Trapping body heat between layers of fabric. We simply took theโ€ฆ
