Hanging loop is weak and broken. I like hanging horseshoe hooks where I need them or tying them to buckets (to save sweeping time) so that doesn't work for me. Very disappointing. Other than that, it's just a regular hoof pickaxe.

Durable and very well made. The metal end is longer than other pickaxes, so it's great for moving dirt, etc. I have nerve damage in my hand, so the large handle is more comfortable to use. I thought when it was described as "rubber grip" it was a soft grip, even though it's hard plastic it still holds up better than your average pick.

It definitely does the job but the pick is too wide for my goat hooves. I don't like the width or length of the handle, the brush head is a bit small and the pick angle wasn't as good as my previous brush and stone combo. It works well, I just prefer a thinner pen, a longer brush, and a wider angle.

We tried these on our Nigerian pygmy goats (40lb average). They have something in their hooves so we clean them before trimming every 6 weeks. I like that it has a brush but the handle is uncomfortable. I thought the pickaxe was too big for the hooves, but it actually works well. The rear handle might seem too bulky. I would recommend this selection as I haven't really tried the other selections.

I really LOVE this hook, it feels good in the hand and cleans the frog of my horses hooves. I'm disappointed that after a short time the hanging loop of the pickaxe broke. I received my choice at the end of October and by December it was broken. I actually used it very little, kept it with my trimming tools but as I said less than two months later the loop broke.
