🐴 Ultimate Solution for Efficient Feeding: Hay Hoops Wall Hay Feeder with Net Black Review

I bought two of these and am very satisfied. They are heavy and easy to assemble. They slow down fast feeders and remove hay from the ground so they don't walk on it while eating. Probably not very practical for group feeding - mostly suitable for individual box feeding. One of my mares attacks her feed and so far this hay tire has held up great.

It's well made and pretty easy to install. My horse preferred to only eat from the top (which required leaving it open) rather than the sides. If you still have hay in it, it will be a bit difficult to clean as the hay will pack up. If your horse already eats well out of a hay net, this will likely work for you too. My horse just wasn't interested.

I have two full hay bale nets and a hoe net. They are all quality products but the easy load hoop is my favorite. I love how easy it is to fill the net - no more filling up hay or wasting hay on the barn floor trying to pull a slack net over a hay bale or hay flake. After filling, it is easy to close and lock the hole on the wall. Great product design and execution - well thought out and well made! I particularly like that the kit includes fasteners (screws) needed to mount the device.

While it looks durable, it's pretty useless in the real world of horses. Only 2 flakes fit in the bag, 1.5 if you want to close them. If you have a horse older than 15 hands (like mine) and want to mount it in a way that it can't get tangled in it (or use it as a scratch) you'll have to climb something to get the hay in the she. this and close this stupid thing. I ordered two of these but only received one. When I then contacted them, I received a "standard" email saying they would contact me "as soon as possible". Not good enough when I've been waiting for the first one for over a week. In addition, the supplied network is too small. I was hoping it would stretch a bit and I could eventually fill it with more hay but it has been sitting for a couple of weeks now and still barely holds 3 small flakes.
