Tyson Approves for Horses

I can feel the elasticity of this mask, it fits my boy perfectly and allows freedom of movement. He can see with ease and doesn't even seem to know he's aroused at all. He takes off all other masks himself. The material also shrinks in front of the eyes, so there is less irritation. Breathable and won't make him sweat

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Clarity

Driftwood fits horses easily

I love that this mask is breathable in the hot summer sun but this is my second mask this summer / easy to catch / hang and plug holes in it tear. Bought it again just because it fits my little pony perfectly and has ears to keep mosquitoes out so I've now reinforced it with tape LOL to get through the summer.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Hard to say

I like the mask but the "horse size " is made for a small horse.

I bought a fly mask the size of a horse. I've only had him for a few days. I love how it bubbles up and stays out of the horse's eyes and face. It's nice and light. I like it very much but the size is wrong. I've tried it on a couple of our horses and it's definitely made for a smaller horse, should really be called a butt/arab/smaller fly mask, not horse sized.

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • A few little things

This fly mask was bought because it was hard. NOT CORRECT! My 25 year old rescue horse managed to lose it by scratching the edge of the barn with his snout, tearing the harness and net beyond repair in less than 48 hours. I couldn't be sadder or more disappointed, it's peak flying season in Idaho and I can't find any locally. He seemed to like it and it suited him well, but it didn't last.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Some cons

No room for a forelock

This is a soft, flexible and comfortable fly mask for miniatures. The part of the screen on the fence wasn't as tight as I'd like as it sits far from the face like a bubble. It was easy to get to by rolling it in your hand (like putting on a sock) and poking your nose in and then pulling up. I don't see that in a shy horse! What I didn't like was that it didn't have a hole for the forelock. Like most minis they have luscious thick tufts and had to crunch under the mesh and it looked awkward…

Pros
  • Nicely packaged
Cons
  • Don't notice
