Well built and worth it!

Upon arrival, I found it to be a lot heavier than I originally thought! It was easy to assemble (nuts, bolts, washers and lock washers came in a small pouch) and it was VERY easy to drop the cup and open the rasp stand. It's not so heavy that it's difficult to carry from point A to point B, but still strong enough, I'm comfortable, big horses won't fall out and break the hardware. There are two powerful magnets on the sides of the stand, and the cup and stand are covered in thick, dense rubber.

Sturdy metal stand and very convenient to use - love it!

GREAT Stand! Cozy. I had my last hoof stand stolen when I left it by the fence which I only used for trimming as it had no cradle. Of course, a while back I only paid $50 for it and couldn't find anything that compares. It was the cheapest I could find to replace this and I figured I probably wouldn't use a stand, but love it! Therefore, you must pull out the pins to lower the feeder bowl. It's well made and built to withstand heavy use - it's metal with a wide diamond plate for you to step on.

Excellent hoof pad for the money.

I paid $105 when I bought this stand. For this money nothing comes close. It's got good steel, good weight (not too heavy, not too light), good finishes, really good rubber, and all the versatility you need. The hoof surface is adjustable from 16" to 24 1/2". Adjustments are made in 2 inch increments. Though technically it's not as adjustable as the $220 version. It also doesn't cost $220, so take that for what it is. The magnets seem decent so far, but we'll see how they hold up. Let's…
