Tovolo Magnetic Bottle Opener Red Review

This item is amazing. Don't drill your beer fridge to install a bottle opener, just buy this one. The magnets are strong, they don't move when you open the bottle and the magnet holding the cap actually holds 4 to 5 caps.

My Favorite Item I Own. A friend had one and I was obsessed. A quick bottle opener that easily mounts to my fridge. My cats love it for easy access to bottle caps. I just wish the caps would come off smoothly instead of flexing because I could use them for projects, but I'll find out.

My parents have been using them for at least two years now and they are the best. Very strong magnets to stick to the fridge and another strong one to catch bottle caps. I think we made it to 10 or 11 before we even cleaned the board and started over. So good that I had to buy one when I moved into my own apartment

Honestly, this is the best bottle opener I've ever bought. While those in the past have fallen apart due to age and repeated use, this is an extremely durable product that is very well made. The design might seem a bit fancy, but remember that it's designed to create a very strong magnetic hold on your fridge and trust me when I say this thing doesn't move when inserted becomes. A magnet on the bottom of the device is also a great idea to catch falling bottle caps. 5 Stars!

I bought 2 - one blue and one black. I hang them right on the fridge door so I don't have to look for an opener because it's there as soon as I close the door. First time I used it - the magnetic aspect of the opener not only sticks to the door but also magnetically grabs the cap after I remove the cap from the bottle. So I missed the cap with my hand but the opener caught the cap in mid-air and the cap never hit the ground. I laughed out loud! Any opener that can do this is worth it!

This is a great bottle opener that fits right on my fridge door. It opens bottles with ease and the closures are caught by a magnet on the bottom. I don't leave enough lids on to see how many fit in there, but I've never seen her take the lid off. It's funny too. I feel a little guilty deducting a star for this product; It's functional, it's well made, it's stylish. The magnets are strong and the knife is the size of a large palm. The missing star is due to Tovolo not sticking well to the fridge or uneven surfaces. My fridge is slightly rounded at the front (LG) and as a result it slides a bit when you put a bottle in it. This new style is not as good as the old style of these bottle openers. Caps only go to the spot directly below the opener. Old style, the caps will fit anywhere that has magnets. This style also doesn't stick to the fridge. When you open the bottle, it moves. The old style could not be torn down. This design has no magnets on each arm so it slides when the bottle is opened.
