Very cute but the child is disappointed No lining, only fabric so the fabric is torn when playing. The carpet usually has a backing. He is very disappointed.

Good picture, good material, big size (big), nice foldable. My grandson likes to play "farm". We painted some G-size farm figures and added a large base so they don't fall off and can play for hours.

The carpet is so thin that it moves across the floor very easily, making it difficult to play. I was very disappointed that it didn't have at least one thin backing. The size is great and it's the best truss design I've found, but it's just thin fabric and moves too much.

When I read "playmat" I expected something that would stay in place when laid out on the floor. It's made of thin, smooth fabric that moves as children move. There is no backing to prevent slipping and the edges are not bound. I had to tape it to the ground in order for it to be used and had to re-tap it every day during our two week farm.

The playmat is large and well detailed, but lightweight so it doesn't move during play. I currently only put heavy weights on the corners for my niece to play with, but I plan to either staple it to a large piece of wood or buy a heavier fabric to sew onto the back. If I'm making a tree, I'll probably cut it in half and add loops so it folds up when not in use.
