This is a versatile storage box thanks to the LEGO-like finish of the lid and divided compartments. It's a great way for kids to carry their LEGOs around friends' houses or on other boring trips to visit old relatives like me. With this handy case, your child is much more likely to bring home all the LEGOs they left behind. I recommend it.

That's a good idea, but the cover doesn't come off separately, making it difficult to use. You would open and close the top every time you needed another piece. I unclipped the top from the hinges and just snapped it in the front to allow the top to go on and off. I even store it that way and it protects the inside without using back loops.

Good idea. Broke after three days. The pins for the hinges are not molded into the case, but separate plastic parts. The first disappeared after three days. Second in a week. Essentially an open plastic box. It would be much better if the whole bottom (red) was a single piece of plastic. It would be even better if the inner walls could be moved. Let's get back to plastic shoe boxes.

Given what makes this product Lego compatible is the attached base, we are very disappointed. The bottom plate is completely warped, so we can't build on it at all. The stones do not stick. Not to mention that it cannot be removed, so you cannot use it as an organizer. Pretty much any divider storage box could do the same job, I wish I'd just bought one of these and bought the base plates separately.

Lots of parts and integrated build space. This is a great kit. Note to parents: do not try to sort them by color in different bags. The first time I spent a lot of time on it and it was useless. Once you close it, when you put it on some of the parts will get mixed up, and if you're building on the lid it's better if you just toss a few of these and pick them off the ground as needed, rather than tipping over and risking your creation that it breaks.

I really like this product, my 10 year old likes it too. He loves the fact that he can store and organize his Lego bricks in deep compartments and close, shake and reopen his suitcase while all the pieces stay in their original place. He also likes to carry his kit around the house and wherever he can build his masterpieces.
