Awesome Mirror Tile Cutting Tool

I cut mirror tiles with cheap tool and broke many tiles. I saw reviews of this tool and two days later I received the tool and cut the remaining tiles cleanly with no breakage. I was also able to do compound scrolling with great results. This tool allowed me to complete my mirror tile project when it seemed like I would have to give up. The price was not excessive given the loss of time and breakage of the cheaper tool. I also bought a special cutting oil.

  • Glass Cutting Tool
Cons
  • No Power

Ideal for cutting flat glass.

I was beginning to think I wasn't capable of cutting glass. Every time I tried to cut glass with a hardware store glass cutter, the glass broke in the wrong place. As it turned out, it was a blunder. I reluctantly bought this cutter thinking I was probably wasting my money, but the first cut I made with it was perfect. I made a few more cuts and they were all perfect and I didn't have to try that hard. I can cut glass.

Pros
  • Cutting tools
Cons
  • No instructions

The best glass cutter for hobbyists too

During the restoration of 1910 corrugated glass windows, we worked hard to learn the best techniques for cutting new glass from old surviving sashes. Starting with a cheaper hand cutter and quickly realizing that you don't want to save on tools in this area. The TOYO brand is excellent, albeit more expensive, and I really appreciate being able to change the blade without having to buy a whole new handle. As with any thin cutting edge, you should not guide it over fine grit, as this will dull it
