🔧 JTC 4158: Efficient Drive Axle Nut Installer and Remover Tool for Toyota Review

to replace the front transfer case oil seal on my Toyota truck and it came in handy. It took a few days to arrive during which I broke two small flat head screwdrivers when removing the previous stamped nut and luckily I was able to remove the broken bits and not damage the threads. I couldn't stamp a new nut until I used this one. Not enough space to work due to frame cross members. Both tools will make stripping and punching easier in the future. I've already told my Toyota friends about this

If you are removing the front axle nuts from a Toyota truck and see the first step will ask you to unscrew these nuts. THIS IS THE TOOL YOU NEED. These two tools are used to crimp and "break out" the spindle nut on the CV shaft. Crimping a nut onto a shaft is not a difficult task, most mechanics simply use a cold steel chisel to do the job. And I haven't used a crimping tool yet. I wanted a different tool to "spread" the nut off the shaft. I have found that using other tools for this (like a center punch) will damage the threads on the nut and then removing will damage the threads on the CV shaft.
