It somehow worked before firmware update

It was an old firmware, rebooted, updated to the latest firmware and all radios stopped. The exchange worked all day, then the bootlap started again. I called them to do another replacement under warranty and they said I would have to pay them for shipping again. I told them that if I had to keep paying for shipping because of the terrible quality, I might as well send it to the dumpster with another brand that is better quality. I even spoke to the manager, he said they would send me a new one

Pros
  • special offer
Cons
  • operating speed

Tp-Link products don't last long

I bought a new ac5400 wireless router from a third party last Christmas. Wanted to upgrade my network connection to provide faster speeds for family and to support our gaming habits. The router has been used normally (as my router has been working fine for the last 6 years). The new top router ac5400 stopped working just 3 months after purchase. When I bought it, the item was brand new in the packaging. The $300 router didn't even last 3 months. I tried contacting support regarding this, even…

Never worked for Networking Products

I don't know anything about internet or routers. I bought this because someone told me it was easy to set up. After several attempts, I couldn't even connect to TP-Link. So I called a pro who took the time to come here and after $100 he told me the router was down. Now it's too late for me to return it. I ended up spending $200 on the router + $100 for no install + $300 for a new one = $600. Excellent purchase!

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Hard to say

Expensive router with negative value

Firmware (latest) for the router is terrible. And all three radios only worked for a few minutes. After further optimizations, it then went into a restart loop. A few times it booted back to a 'working' state, the 5G radios were disabled and 2.4G had no channeling. I had to pay for return shipping. You should have paid me for the wasted time trying to get this thing to work.

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • No color required
