Worked for about two weeks then stopped. I used a different brand with my Android. This one stopped working (and was cheap) so I decided to buy this one and use it with my iPad. Although it worked a little longer than the previous one, it stopped working. I kept it in a carry case when not in use. Spend the extra money to get either a good quality reader or an extra set of SD cards and just swap them out every time you check your cameras.

This card reader is great. I highly recommend. The card reader is easy to connect to your phone. It even comes with an extension that allows you to connect to your phone without removing the case, which is very important. I'm using a card reader with an Otterbox case and an iPhone 7. Images from the SD card load very quickly and with very good clarity. With the included app, it's very easy to download images from your SD card to your phone for a closer look when you get back from the field.

This is exactly what we were looking for. I used to take a laptop with me to view photos from the camera in the field. Viewing in the field is so important that if we don't see the activity we're looking for, we can adjust camera settings or turn it off altogether. This viewer is a great product. Used with my iPhone. This card reader works well on my laptop/desktop but not on my iPhone/iPad. It doesn't read video from the card and for stills it reads 3 or 4 and then kicks me out of the app. I have 9 trail cameras and found it easier to just turn off and boot up the SD cards. Back in my office where the "Trail Cam Tracker" works well but is too expensive for a desktop reader. The practicality of using this on my iPhone in the field leaves a lot to be desired. Bought this for my son who needs it for lynx research for the state. It's easier than bringing your laptop. I tested it before giving it to him and found that the reader/app only stays open or activated for a short time. (For example less than 5 minutes). Why? If you want to delete unwanted images in the box, you literally have to put the reader back in and start over. I found this to be the only (albeit HUGE) downside to the product.
