Took about a year. We redid the wiring on our horsebox and had to redo it after a year because the wire was getting too brittle.

The only issue I have is the ground wire and the 12vdc that is meant for the 10 gauge wire. They all sent gauge 14. As they say, it's a wire. It's hard to screw up.

I had to change the trailer for the car transporter. The original wiring shorted out and ruined every other wire in the harness. These bundles of wires were just what I needed for the rewiring. Thanks.👍

At first I thought it was great. It turns out that after a year the rubber lining becomes brittle and starts to crack everywhere! Every time I use my trailer, it has a new broken wire somewhere. Do not buy! You will mount it again in less than 2 years.

High quality wire, rebuilt the entire trailer from front to back with no problems. The insulation is consistent which is important, I've had wire that has gotten really thin in some places, it's solid everywhere I cut it. The caliber is correct, the inner core is copper, not jacketed, and some cheap wires are just copper. Fast shipping and the price was less than half of what I could find locally.

7 colors make it easy to color code and the cable seems flexible enough to hold what I need. Only the packaging keeps it from 5 stars. If the spools came in a single dispenser (even cardboard) instead of 7 separate plastic bags that they unwind in when you take them out, the product would be much easier to use and deserve 5 stars, but looks good even without the wire.

I used this kit to rewire an implement trailer about a year and a half ago and I already have to completely rewire it again. Copper clad aluminum wiring oxidizes in Florida's humid weather, turning the wiring to a white powder at every connector and all the way through to the insulation. Currently my trailer wiring is full of 1 to 2 foot connections where I had to replace the oxidized and fallen apart wiring. If you decide to use this kit, use waterproof connectors or heat shrink tubing.

I ordered a trailer wire harness with 50ft spools. I needed exactly 48 feet of overall length for a 20 foot trailer. I removed 24 feet and installed the cable in the trailer's side rails. When I wanted to draw 24 feet for the other side, 3 of the 4 wires were short, which means 8 to 10 feet depending on the color. Call me picky, but when I order 50ft spools, I expect 50ft spools, not 42 or 40ft. Now I'm holding out while I get more wire. Thanks for cutting me down no pun.
