I bought two of these for my kids (ages 5 and 6) because we already had character heads and they wouldn't last more than a few plays. Bought this head for my 7 year old granddaughter who wants to be a hairdresser when she grows up. I thought light hair color would be fun for her. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the head and hair on this doll head. I bought a tripod and attached my head to it because of the C-Clamp reviews. Now she spends hours researching hairstyles to perfect her skills. The hair is very well braided and beautifully styled.

I looked at many different brands and styles of wigs and read many reviews before deciding on this one. I'm very happy and my daughter is too! I bought this to play with my 7 year old soon. This is way better than those barbie heads that are meant for kids. More hair and more length. And the clamp is a nice bonus BUT the head is on a ball joint and keeps sliding sideways. Won't stand straight. And the texture of the hair is definitely PLASTIC and it's knotted. Don't take a comb with you or she'll spill something terrible! I get my daughter to use a boar bristle brush, she does better with synthetic strands.

I love this mannequin! Great purchase and good quality. I am in beauty school now and it helps me a lot with my long hairstyles. Besides, who wouldn't love all the colors?! Just a tip for those who may not be in beauty school, this is NOT REAL human hair so do not put any products on it or it will make the hair uncomfortable and messy!
